What seems at first to be standard albeit undeniably solid death metal music with elements of grindcore turns out to be a whole lot more. Keeping the momentum unabated, the songs progress in unexpected ways by adding technical flourishes, dissonant passages, melodic breaks and so on. To do so within the framework of death/grind music and not significantly alter the overall sound is no mean feat, and the fact that they do this consistency and slightly differently each time is a testament to the songwriting prowess. The primary motive however remains creating powerful, vigorous, and dynamic death metal music that one can come back to over and over again and to that extent they succeed tremendously.
