As accomplished as it is, it also happens to be unique in the style of dissonant death metal - in that, it's deeply personal and palpably emotive, and that poignant, introspective mood pervades their entire album. The music almost has a melodic albeit melancholic quality to it that is refreshing for a style of music that usually sounds harsh and detached. At the same time the music is driven; the hypnotic riffs are invariably interspersed with bursts of blasts and there is good momentum generated in this calculated, undulating pattern which becomes addictive. 'Memories Fragmented' is a beautifully tempered album underpinned by unforgettable melodies, an ambitious release but one completely devoid of pretence, which is bound to be regarded as one of the standout albums in the style in the years to come. I've been keeping my eye on them but they've taken things to a whole new level on their new full length. It's dissonant but also strangely atmospheric and melancholic. Their intriguing, forward-thinking death metal expression fits our vision well and we can't wait to unleash this release. Check out the lyric video of one of their new songs here - https://youtu.be/S5DrIJpKDTg Band's statement, "Our goal is to share emotionally driven death metal to those in need. We are stoked to release our debut LP on Transcending Obscurity alongside an amazing roster of bands. We are proud to have produced, recorded and mixed this album. Thank you to Stu McKillop at Raincity Recorders for the mastering. Thank you to Kunal and everyone at Transcending Obscurity for allowing us to reach farther and push our goals."
