Originally released on 7" in 1995, There Was Blood Everywhere came at a juncture where death metal's fascination with gore reached its nadir and the music consequently became staid and slovenly. EMBALMER appeared unconcerned, upping the gory lyrical content to OTT levels and the churning, coagulating grind in kind. The kind of death metal found on There Was Blood Everywhere was (and still is) sick, blown-out, bowel-exploding grind played with hysteric, wide-eyed fervor, its depths of depravity black enough to appeal to fans of Conqueror as they do Carcass. As a bonus, 1993's Rotting Remains demo is added to this special vinyl pressing, thereby making it the definitive EMBALMER statement.
