Their brutal death metal isn't the kind where you hear one song, you get the gist of the entire album because they're all just variations of the same rigid song type. Enragement in fact take the effort to approach songs differently each time, intermingling stirring melodies with heaving slams and everything in between. They aren't trying to be unnecessarily technical or flashy either; rather they are ensuring that the perfect expression is achieved and emphasis is given where needed, be it for solos or breakdowns. In simple words, this is as well-rounded a brutal death metal album as it can be when it comes to this obscene level of heaviness without the music getting dumbed down. Enragement have struck the right balance here, making their album satisfying, interesting, and also hugely enjoyable.
