In search of his lost brother, the traveler discovers the distress beacon that lured him into the lair of the ender was part of an insidious plan. The artifact in which he recovered from the planet Vaath was in fact an inter-dimensional relay which would allow Urgael, the dimension eater to manifest. While awestruck at the door with a face, the Traveler was confronted by the native Dreth species whom seemed to guard the portal. Being wounded, he watched as Eishar, whom the night before laid with him would drink the red matter from the artifact and thus birthing the ender in physical manifestation. The traveler is then drug through the doors where he would become the prisoner of the rift.
