The verdict was treason. The sentence was fire. But fire does not kill those who are born of it.

"Seraphim Burn" is the second chapter of the Faceless Chronicles (The Black Gospel). The rebellion has begun. The legions of the Morning Star are cast down, not in shame, but in fury. This is the sound of angels becoming demons.

"We did not fall... We descended."

LYRICS: (Verse 1) The heavens split beneath the weight of doom, And angelic steel was washed in slander's gloom. They screamed the charge of "Treason!" in our face, The light grew dim within the hound-pack's gaze. The verdict given: agony and pain, For answering their "God!" with "Who begins your reign?!"

(Pre-chorus) We got the order: "Silence and fall down!" Before the gilded face of that eternal crown! But a legion that was born without a chain Knows no soft prayers, just fury's burning rain!

(Chorus) Burn, Seraphim! In the cleansing fire's claim! Above the ash of burned-out flags and names! Burn, Seraphim! Reborn in agony and pain! We are the New Light! We are the Legion's Reign!

(Verse 2) I still recall the heavens' silk ignite, How armor melted, but the soul burned bright. We fell through darkness like a fiery tide, They saw a devil's flaw in every stride. But every scream was not a plea, but an oath sworn, We will return with harvest's wrath at dawn!
