Building on the success of their acclaimed self-titled EP, Red Cain returns with the single "Snakebouquet" from the band's upcoming full-length album "Kindred" (due for release in summer 2018).
This is a tale of humanity's reach toward the stars, illuminated from ages past by an ancient Sumerian myth posing the Earth as a snake goddess. The modern and ancient collide in this powerful track, featuring first man in space Yuri Gagarin's first official transmission from his seat in the cosmos.

Lyrics:
Callous and bleeding I stand
On the ruins of this home of mine
Yet again a chance to remember
Per aspera ad astra, sine metu
(Through hardship to the stars, without fear)
Before my eyes, a world on fire
I walk in the Cradle of Life...
I have touched the stars, I have seen the sunlight fade
And the Wild Hunt has howled out my name
Once
Twice
Face to the skies
Pale blue chaos, what secrets you take to your grave!
Once
Twice
Hundreds of times
We search for our saviour, the goddess you call Snakebouquet!
Pillars of creation
Endless night we crave
Golden-foiled metal heralds
Echoing our names
And we break into the blackness
And we open up the skies
And across the billion planets
Exhale our mighty cry
Tonight we fly!
Before my eyes, the world on fire
I walk in the Cradle of Life...
We have touched Polaris, we have seen the sunlight fade
And the Wild Hunt has howled out our names
Once
Twice
Face to the skies
How have you spent all the days of your thousand lives?
Have you ever raised your voice
To say “The world is mine!”
